CDD TOSS IDIQ

Overview of the IDIQ

The Deputy Commandant, Combat Development and Integration (DC, CD&I) prepares the Marine Corps through identifying and facilitating fielding of warfighting capabilities. The Capabilities Development Directorate (CDD) is responsible for developing and integrating warfighting capabilities solutions that provide for an effective, integrated Marine Air Ground Task Force capability and future capabilities supporting the Marine Littoral Regiment. The Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory/Futures Directorate (MCWL/FD) generates and examines threat-informed, operating concepts and capabilities, and provides analytically supported recommendations to inform subsequent force design and development activities.

The first IDIQ awarded by CDD/CD&I focused on a requirement for technical, analytical, and engineering, and capability portfolio management (CPM) support. Due to the success of the former IDIQ, this new Technical and Operational Support Services IDIQ was recompeted to include operational architecture support in support of CDD/CD&I and warfighting capability analysis in support of MCWL/FD.

We support the mission through:

  • Technical support to CDD Divisions and CPMs
  • Supporting the JCIDS & MC CBA process
  • Providing programmatic operations and management coordination and integration, and external coordination and communication
  • Business, Analysis, and Operational support to the MCWL/FD
  • Systems Engineering analysis in support of capability development and operational/systems architectural design.
