AMSG Awarded Capabilities Development Directorate (CDD) for Technical Operational Support Services (TOSS) Contract

DUMFRIES, VIRGINIA, September 2023 — AMSG has won a competitive $99 million IDIQ supporting the Capabilities Development Directorate, Deputy Commandant for Combat Development and Integration, as well as, Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory, both located at the Marine Corps Base in Quantico, Virginia. AMSG is one of only nine companies to be awarded the privilege to assist the Marine Corps in developing critical capabilities to achieve the tenets with Force Design 2030.

The Deputy Commandant, Combat Development and Integration (DC, CD&I) prepares the Marine Corps through identifying and facilitating fielding of warfighting capabilities. The Capabilities Development Directorate (CDD) is responsible for developing and integrating warfighting capabilities solutions that provide for an effective, integrated Marine Air Ground Task Force capability and future capabilities supporting the Marine Littoral Regiment. The Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory /Futures Directorate (MCWL/FD) generates and examines threat-informed, operating concepts and capabilities, and provides analytically supported recommendations to inform subsequent force design and development activities.

The first IDIQ awarded by CDD/CD&I focused on a requirement for technical, analytical, and engineering, and capability portfolio management (CPM) support. Due to the success of the former IDIQ, this new Technical and Operational Support Services IDIQ was recompeted to include operational architecture support in support of CDD/CD&I and warfighting capability analysis in support of MCWL/FD.

AMSG’s CEO, Jim O’Farrell commented, “AMSG is privileged to continue serving our Marines, developing new capabilities with innovative solutions that continue the legacy of this elite fighting force, the United States Marine Corps. We strive every day, putting our ’boots’ on, to bring competence, courage, and compassion to the fight now to ensure the Marine Corps’ success tomorrow. Being selected as an awardee is truly an honor for AMSG to continue Forging Solutions for the Missions that Matter.

AMSG presently supports five Task Orders in support of the Aviation Combat Element Division and the Ground Combat Element Division – Force Protection and looks forward to supporting the Operational Architecture Branch and MCWL/FD in future competed task orders.
