Fast forward to 100 issues of AMSGazette — where will we be? It feels like a long ways away but it’s really not that far down the line. To think, we just started this thing about four years ago and we’re already here! In that time, we’ve gotten to highlight contract wins, partner spotlights, skill advice, all the while, we’ve centered AMSGers stories, elevating the people behind the work we do. And we’re just getting started!

As we look toward the next 50 issues, we want to continue bringing you stories that elicit curiosity and facilitate connection. More than that though, we want to keep innovating and thinking of engaging ways to do this work. AMSGazette has always been dynamic and that energy’s not going anywhere! We’re excited to explore new voices, new formats, and new ways of highlighting the expertise, creativity, and impact within our community. To keep doing that, we want to hear from you all, now more than ever.

What have you loved reading from us these past four years? Was it the pieces that offered practical advice on networking, soft skills, and technical tools? Or maybe you liked getting a peek behind the curtain in our contract spotlights, learning more about the process behind some of AMSG’s biggest accomplishments.

If you’re like me, your favorite pieces might have been the ones that went beyond who we are at work and focused on the unique stories, interests, and passions we have here at AMSG. We’ve written about AMSGers who lit up the stage as comedians, climbed edifices of rock, or ranched acres of land, all while being rockstars at work. My personal favorite was a profile on Rachel Brewster’s love of archery and the beautiful relationship with her grandparents that fostered it.

This newletter has also been a space to share the experiences that bring people together, like two AMSGers who became close friends, taking their families camping together, AMSG’s service trips to Kenya and Guatemala, and fertilizer-filled days volunteering at Arcadia Farms. These kinds of moments are so special and we hope to have many more articles like that in the issues to come.

While we’ve been able to write a hundreds of pieces, we know there’s still so many people to spotlight, anecdotes to uncover, and wins to celebrate. As we continue on, aiming for that three-digit issue milestone, we promise to continue to bringing you the stories that make you feel connected, plus new content like (spoiler alert) a series on leadership we’re unveiling!

AMSGazette works best when it reflects the voices and experiences of the people who make AMSG what it is. If you have some time, we have a couple of questions for you! Here’s what we want to know:

  1. What do you want to see more of in the next 50 issues?
  2. What are your favorite things to read in AMSGazette?
  3. Are there any stories or topics we’ve missed?

Thank you for reading, contributing, and trusting us to share your stories. We couldn’t do it without you!
