The Office of the Chief Administrative Services Officer (OCASO) required the services of a qualified contractor to provide project and program management support along with business case analyses, OCASO policy and procedure development, and assistance to OCASO and/or other Office of the Executive Director offices in defining, managing, and executing strategies to meet both current and emerging FTC business needs.
On a Prime contract, AMSG provides integrated program and project plan development/execution, program reporting information to hundreds of key stakeholders, providing program gap analyses, policy analyses, and recommendations, change management, and business process improvements with several cross-functional teams. AMSG also employs collaborative and iterative methodologies to support FTC goals while ensuring the OCASO strategies are consistent and comprehensive. AMSG has also introduced portfolio management tools and techniques to help OCASO leadership prioritize and control programs and projects that align with FTC’s overall strategic objectives supporting the entire population.
“AMSG is a driving force behind OCASO’s success. They methodically listen, provide remarkable deliverables, and are very easy to work with. Given the exceptional support provided by AMSG to the Federal Trade Commission, Office of the Chief Administrative Services Officer, and their ability to perform in accordance with the contract, I would highly recommend them to other government organizations and would re-award their contract if given the chance to do so.”
For the past year, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has been modernizing several of their enterprise systems and tools. But even with these transformation efforts, data management across multiple systems has proven to be a challenge. While Microsoft Excel has its merits, pivot tables can be unwieldly, and they aren’t inherently interactive to a user for managing and analyzing large datasets. AMSG knew that Microsoft Power BI takes it to the next level for streamlining data.
