As a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business with a staff of 34% veteran team members, AMSG seeks to include and support veterans of all backgrounds and experiences through our employment, projects, and missions.
Advanced Management Strategies Group (AMSG) is Virginia Values Veterans (V3) certified for taking steps to implement nationally recognized best practices in recruiting, hiring, and retaining highly-skilled and dependable Veterans.
Alongside our continuing support of the Travis Manion Foundation’s Veteran Transition Workshops, Character Does Matter Program, and the annual 9/11 Heroes Run, we have also engineered an in-house program based upon our core values as a means for supporting transitioning military personnel, wounded warriors, and current and incoming veteran staff, as well as multiple mentoring programs and additional resources.
AMSG is proud to announce that the Acting Secretary of Labor, Julie A. Su, recognized AMSG as a recipient of the Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans (HIRE Vets) Act of 2017 HIRE Vets Platinum Medallion Award.
The HIRE Vets Medallion Award is the only federal-level veterans’ employment award that is earned by businesses that demonstrate unparalleled commitment to recruiting, hiring, and retaining veterans. Recipients of the 2024 HIRE Vets Medallion Awards meet rigorous employment and veteran integration assistance criteria, including veteran hiring and retention and providing veteran-specific resources.
AMSG joins other companies from all across the country, who have not only shown a commitment to hiring veterans, but also ensuring that they have a long-term career and growth plan that uses the diverse skills they acquired through their military service.
Our Veteran Resource Group (VRG), established in 2022, is dedicated to supporting the integration of new Veteran team members within our organization.
The Purpose of the VRG is to build a Community among AMSG’s Veterans!
