AMSG has won a competitive task order supporting the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) Deputy Commandant (DC) Combat Development & Integration (CD&I), Capabilities Development Directorate (CDD), Ground Combat Element Division – Force Protection.

DC, CD&I leads Marine Corps force development in collaboration throughout the process with numerous stakeholders across Headquarters Marines Corps, the operating forces and supporting establishment. CD&I’s Mission is to design and develop a modernized Marine Corps to campaign in an evolving threat environment, in order to deny, deter, and if necessary, defeat adversaries as part of a naval, joint, combined, and interagency construct.

AMSG’s contract requirements on this competitively awarded Task Order support the Active Security Branch by developing and integrating Identity Operations (IdOps) biometric and forensic capabilities, Non-Lethal Weapons (NLW) / Intermediate Force Capabilities (IFC), Irregular Warfare (IW), and tactical observation and sensing capabilities to provide early warning and intrusion detection solutions for the U. S. Marine Corps.

We support this mission through:

  • Applying force protection technical support to the Active Security Branch
  • Supporting the JCIDS, MC CBA, and acquisition command processes
  • Provide program operations, management, and external coordination and communications

AMSG’s CEO, Jim O’Farrell commented, “We’re excited to continue our developmental efforts supporting the application of cutting-edge technologies within future warfighting capabilities, fielded into the hands of Marines. This continues a long-standing relationship with our Force Protection partner, forging solutions to a critical mission at the tactical level.”
