AMSG is pleased to announce lead sponsorship and donation to Coldest Night of the Year, a fundraising event benefitting homeless people.
“Let me just say how thrilled we are at AMSG to be supporting [the] upcoming Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) walk in Fredericksburg to end homelessness. At AMSG, we love to be involved in local initiatives that are doing good things in our communities. We focus our philanthropic efforts mostly on military veterans and children, and [the] initiative “covers down” on both of those,” said AMSG’s CEO, Jim O’Farrell.
Coldest Night of the Year is a fundraising effort to raise money for local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness through a walk, this year held on February 25, 2023. The event began in Canada and has now spread throughout the U.S. While CNOY has been around since 2011, the Fredericksburg event is hosted by Micah Ecumenical Ministries for the first time.
“We are so honored to welcome AMSG as a lead sponsor for this event. The support of community sponsors has been crucial to the success of the Coldest Night of the Year for us, and we have been amazed by the number of businesses supporting this event!” said Jill Clare, Executive Administrator at Micah Ministries, Event Director for Coldest Night of the Year.
In addition to the sponsorship and donation, AMSG will have a team of walkers participating in the event, led by Patsy Hockaday, a longtime supporter of Micah and AMSG.
