AMSG is proud to support the Headstrong Project www.getheadstrong.org. With a mission to “Heal The Hidden Wounds of War”, Headstrong provides cost-free, bureaucracy-free, stigma-free, confidential, and effective mental health treatment for post-9/11 veterans and their families.
AMSG supports the Navy SEAL Foundation with a donation to one of the Foundation’s premier annual fundraising events. The Tampa Bay Frogman Swim strives to build national awareness of the Naval Special Warfare community and supports the Navy SEAL Foundation, whose mission is to provide immediate and ongoing support and assistance to the Naval Special Warfare community and their families.
Some veterans arrive at our Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) hospitals with just the clothes they are wearing. Once they have been served at the VA, and are ready to leave, Sweats for Vets provides them with clothing to wear. AMSG is proud to give back directly to our Veterans who have given so much for us.
AMSG is proud to be a supporter of the Travis Manion Foundation (TMF). The Travis Manion Foundation honors the fallen and assists our nation’s veterans and service members by supporting families of fallen heroes. The TMF has created an outreach program called Character Does Matter (CDM), empowering veterans and families of the fallen to deliver inspiring presentations to High Schools across the nation. AMSG personnel serve as ambassadors in this program, relating stories and inspiring young people to demonstrate character by exhibiting courage, integrity, leadership and service in their everyday lives. AMSG has also supported the Travis Manion Foundation’s Alexandria 9/11 Heroes Run! AMSG provides financial support for the event and our team members have served in all capacities in support of the race. In fact, our President & CEO, Jim O’Farrell, has served as the Race Director since the inception of the Alexandria 9/11 Heroes Run.
The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation was established to honor the service and sacrifice of Marines and their families. As our Nation’s oldest and largest provider of need-based scholarships to military children, the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation helps cover the cost of attending post-high school, undergraduate, and career and technical education programs.
Makindu Children’s Program provides financial, advisory and technical guidance to Makindu Children’s Centre and supports their efforts to provide nutritional, medical and emotional support, and access to education and vocational training to destitute AIDS orphans and other vulnerable children.
Students Helping Honduras is officially changing its name to One Thousand Schools.
Nearly two decades ago, One Thousand Schools started as a group of idealistic college students from Virginia hoping to fight educational inequity in Honduras. The mission is to alleviate violence and extreme poverty in Honduras through education and youth empowerment. The team is working towards a goal of building 1,000 schools throughout Honduras.
Jump DC’s Mission: Our mission is to foster a safe community where girls and boys can be free and creative. We are committed to challenging our children to exude brilliance, boldness, courage and self determination. Jump DC created a youth sector (Jump DC Jr. All Stars) where we teach and train young girls from the ages of 7-18 years of age the basic skills of Double Dutch, moderate to advance tricks to perform inside the ropes, discipline and so much more with the goal to compete and win at local and national Double Dutch events.
We are proud to support the General Federation of Women’s Clubs of Virginia (GFWC Virginia) with a donation of over $6,700 in reaching their goal of raising $35,000 for the Armed Services YMCA to purchase a bus to transport children of military families to daily childcare.

AMSG is a proud supporter of Arcadia Farm. Cultivated by restauranteur Michael Babin, and led by Executive Director, Pamela Hess, the four-acre Arcadia Farm was established to grow food in concert with nature, teach new and aspiring farmers (including a nationally recognized military veteran farmer program) how to grow food using environmentally conscious methods, and provide marginalized communities with access to healthy, farm-fresh foods.
Operation Renew Prosthetics (ORP) is a program run by Medical Center Orthotics and Prosthetics (MCOP) to provide prosthetics for Ukrainian soldier amputees injured in the ongoing war in Ukraine. The program operates out of MCOP’s offices on the east coast of the United States and through its European facility in Malta. During the first three months of operation, it has provided prosthetics and rehabilitation services for twelve severely wounded soldiers, with rehabilitation services being provided by the Adventist Healthcare System. Two other partners, Future for Ukraine (FFU) and Revived Soldiers Ukraine (RSU), are assisting with transporting, housing, and feeding the soldiers and their traveling companions.
The AUK Scholarship Fund will provide the unique opportunity for Ukrainian students to earn an American degree while studying in Ukraine. AUK welcomes cooperation and collaboration with individual and corporate donors who are ready and willing to support the development of Ukraine through world-class education.
Fox Bravo Overland (FBO) is an off-road/overland adventure team consisting of U.S. military and law enforcement veterans who aggressively tackle long distance off-road challenges in their four-wheel drive vehicles.
FBO and Heroes Night Out/Heroes Resource Center (HNO) have teamed up for these events. In addition to assisting with identifying participants, HNO will provide a 501c3 fundraising capability for tax deductible donations.
Through this model of peer-to-peer interaction, Heroes Night Out is able to quickly address the unique situations that service members, veterans, and military families experience by creating a trusting relationship more immediately.
Heroes Night Out offers a number of services and activities including peer-to-peer groups and activities, individual/family rehabilitative activities, a Counselor from the Vet Center, a Veteran Service Officer (claims/benefits), a VA Loan Specialist, and representatives from the Texas Workforce Commission.
Beyond the services, events, and resources Heroes Night Out provides, our big mission is outreach and fostering relationships with family, friends, and the integration from military to civilian life. We model ourselves around the idea of a supportive community and by healing all those affected by transition through positive encouragement, support, and open doors.
