​​AMSG was founded by Mike McCormick in 2008 with a vision for providing quality program support services across all phases of the program management life-cycle. Mr. McCormick is a retired Marine Corps Logistics Officer who spent over 28 years in the Marine Corps working in Supply and Logistics across the globe. After retiring from the Marine Corps in 2002, Mr. McCormick worked for several defense contractors, with positions of increasing responsibility in Account and Project Management. Mr. McCormick has significant expertise and relationships in the areas of Business Process Management, Acquisition Management and large-scale systems and information integration. He is responsible for AMSG strategy and new business development. He holds an undergraduate degree in Business and an MBA from the University of Nebraska.
​​Since leaving the Navy in 1994, Mr. O’Farrell has gained years of experience providing executive management and consulting support throughout the federal government. Mr. O’Farrell joined AMSG in 2010 with a shared vision to provide our customers with innovative solutions to complex problems – all at an affordable price. He has a broad base of experience in both customer-facing (strategy, management and technology consulting, business development, sales, and marketing) and business management functions (Services Delivery Management, Quality, HR, Contracts Management, and Finance). Prior to joining AMSG, Mr. O’Farrell held positions of varying responsibility up to and including COO with government contractors such as KPMG Consulting, Booz Allen Hamilton, EDS and American Management Systems. Mr. O’Farrell is a graduate of the U.S Naval Academy and has an MBA from Averett University.
